Bookstore
There are three bookstore locations: West Los Angeles, Irvine, and Malibu.
Students may also order items to be delivered to them by mail. These requests
can be made via telephone or online.
Career Services
GSEP offers assistance in the area of career and professional development.
Workshops, seminars, job listings consultation, and other resources are
available to enhance success establishing a career in education or
psychology.
Disabled Studentand
Veteran Services
GSEP is committed to making sure every possible barrier between each student
and a quality education has been removed. Pepperdine University provides
opportunities and assistance to students with disabilities as well as to
veterans, armed services personnel, and qualified dependents.
Dissertation Support
The Dissertation Support Office assists students with the dissertation process,
including submission to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), the APA
Format Clearance process, and submission of all materials for dissertation
manuscript binding and submission to the online ProQuest database
system.
Financial Aid
GSEP offers a financial aid program that provides more than 75 percent of the
student body with some type of assistance, primarily in the form of student
loans. Several financial aid programs are available:
Health Insurance
Graduate and Law students are required to carry health insurance, but are not
required to furnish proof of insurance. All international students are required
to purchase insurance with U.S. coverage. The University requires health care
coverage for the purpose of limiting undue financial and academic stress
related to illnesses during the academic year.
Housing
Assistance is provided in finding housing near the Graduate Campuses. A
roommate match assistance program is also offered.
International Student Services
The International Student Services Office at the Malibu campus assists
international students in all matters related to admission, immigration, visas,
and work permits.
Libraries
Students, faculty, staff, and alumni of GSEP are served by three libraries and
three reference centers that for the University Library's system. The library
collection contains 800,000 books and an extensive number of government
documents, periodicals, electronic databases, online materials, and specialized
print and non-print materials.
Psychological and Educational Clinic and Community
Counseling Centers
The Psychological and Educational Clinic, located at Pepperdine University
Plaza, and the Community Counseling Centers, located at the Irvine graduate
campus and the Encino graduate campus, provide comprehensive psychological
services to the general community as well as to Pepperdine staff and students.
Services are provided by psychology graduate students under the supervision of
licensed clinical psychologists.
Registration
The GSEP Registration Office provides information and services for student
registration, records, grades, and graduation
Student Accounts
The GSEP Student Accounts Office provides student account information and
processes tuition payments, company reimbursement, and student refunds.
Student Parking Information
Student parking is available at West Los Angeles, Encino, Irvine, and Westlake
Village Graduate Campuses.
Student Groups
At The Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP), we believe education is more than what happens in the classroom. The student affiliated scholarly organizations and societies at GSEP provide students with the opportunity to enhance their personal and professional development beyond academic studies. With the support of faculty advisors, the student-led organizations of GSEP encourage members to learn and grow together in an environment supportive of diversity and creativity. Technical Services
The GSEP Technology Team provides technical resources and support for students,
faculty, and staff. The Team is dedicated to bringing technology innovation to
the classroom as well as providing high quality customer service.
Writing Support
The Writing Support Office offers students the unique opportunity to have a
professional writing consultant review and offer guidance on papers and
projects.
